Vice President of Software Development, 2008 to present
- Responsible
for product planning, resourcing, architecture, and execution for three
products: a revenue-management product, web-based EMR, and patient
communication service. Technologies include perl, php, dhtml, javascript, Oracle,
mySQL, and Asterisk.
- Contributed
to $7.7 million acquisition of MedicalMessaging.net, including due diligence,
hardware migration, product integration, and management of remote
development resources.
- Managed
a department of 80+ stateside developers, plus offshore technical
resources. Coordinated with other department heads and executives
regarding budgeting and strategy.
Director of Software Development, 2005 - 2008
- Contributed
to SAS-70 and SOX compliance, budget planning, and auditing for Initial
Product Offering described by Boston Globe as "the most successful
IPO of the year."
- Developed
and managed a Software Development Life Cycle responsible for delivering a
major release every four weeks, plus daily incremental changes. Worked
with Product Managers and Business Leads to develop an aggressive, agile approach
to project development.
- Implemented
an internal reporting capability for tracking core metrics leveraging
Oracle ETL processes, complete with an html/flash visualization layer.

- Developed
multiple transaction architectures, including Electronic Remittance
Advice, Patient Eligibility, and Claim
Acknowledgement.
- Built
an interviewing/hiring process for attracting high-caliber developer

Ignition Technologies was a software development
company that designed, developed and deployed enterprise level software
solutions. In 2002, its intellectual property was purchased by Enel of Italy.

viewing the results of enhancements in both Matlab and Java.
